Summary

Pixel Arena is a free browser game. You can play without an account. We do not show ads, we do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not sell personal data.

Data stored on your device

Your nickname, scores, unlocked levels and cosmetics, settings, language choice and daily-challenge streak are saved in your browser's local storage on your own device. This data is not sent to us. You can delete it at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.

World leaderboard

When you finish a campaign run or the daily challenge, the game sends your nickname, score, level reached, difficulty, the date of the daily challenge, the game language and a random install ID to our leaderboard database. The install ID is generated in your browser and contains no information about you; it only lets the game show your own row and keep one best score per player. No email address, account or IP address is stored with your score.

Your nickname and score are shown publicly on the world and daily leaderboards, so do not use your real full name as a nickname. The database is operated by Supabase in the European Union (Frankfurt). Daily-challenge results are deleted automatically after 90 days; all-time scores are kept while the leaderboard is running. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in providing the leaderboard you choose to take part in.

Anonymous usage statistics

We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views — for example which pages are visited, the country, device type and referring website. It does not use cookies and does not create a profile of you.

In addition, the game records anonymous game events in our own database in the European Union (Supabase, Frankfurt): for example "game started", "level 5 cleared", "score shared", how long the game was open, the game language, your country (determined by our hosting provider from the connection and not stored as an IP address), device type and the website you came from. Each visit gets a random session number that exists only while the page is open; it is never saved on your device, so we cannot recognise you on a later visit. These statistics are deleted after 180 days. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in improving the game.

Hosting and security

The game is hosted by Vercel Inc. When you load a page, Vercel processes technical data such as your IP address and browser information to deliver the content and protect the service from abuse. This data is processed by Vercel as our hosting provider and is not used by us to identify you.

Sharing your score

The "Share score" button uses your device's own share sheet or copies a link to your clipboard. Nothing is sent to us when you share.

Children

Pixel Arena is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, including children.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, the UK GDPR and Turkey's KVKK you have the right to access, correct or delete personal data and to object to its processing. Data kept only on your device can be deleted by clearing this site's data in your browser. To have your leaderboard entries removed, contact us with your nickname and the approximate date of the score.

Changes

If we add features that process more personal data — for example an optional newsletter or notifications — we will update this policy before launching them and ask for your consent where required.
